Assistant Director of Business Development

The Assistant Director of Business Development role is expressly designed as a fast-track pipeline to our Senior Account Executive (SAE) team:

When you demonstrate success in this role, expect to be promoted within 12 months (to an SAE role with still greater earning potential).

The Assistant Director of Business Development will work closely with our senior sales leaders, learning from them and contributing to everything from business travel to marketing-sales endeavors to highly targeted prospect research. You will expertly execute the processes we have in place, and we will expect you to think strategically about the ways in which we can improve said processes (i.e. we expect our employees to contribute, and we very much value their contributions).

Key responsibilities:

  • Using FLX Systems’ best-in-class tech stack (including HubSpot and ZoomInfo’s Sales OS), research, qualify, and contact prospective business opportunities.
  • Generate highly qualified leads for sales pipeline by helping build interest and relationships with prospects via in-person travel, conferences, expositions, email, phone, etc.
  • Lead stellar, team-oriented communication between prospects and senior sales teams—may include assisting senior sales executives and company leadership on enterprise-level demos and presentations.
  • Regularly, expertly communicate with sales and company leadership about successes and challenges while thinking critically and creatively about ways to execute improvements at every step along the way.

  • You have a bachelor’s degree from an exceptional four-year college.

What you can expect

Compensation & Benefits:

The compensation structure for the Assistant Director of Business Development role is a competitive base salary plus commission, with OTE ranging from $75,000 to $120,000 annually. Benefits package include Healthcare, Eye, Dental, Disability, and 401K plan.
